Spiritual Ascension Round-up

Thanks for reading Vera Nadine!
I thought I’d start giving kudos where kudos are due and let some of my readers in on places to find more information and inspiration for the spiritual journey. The whole planet is beginning to vibrate faster, an acceleration toward the higher frequency which will bring us into the next dimension.
All of us are seeking, some of us know why, some of us are just beginning to figure it out. That “something” that you’ve always felt was missing will definitely come into better focus as you embrace your spiritual nature and your oneness with all things. So as a nod to that oneness I offer you some writings of fellow mystics, guides and awakened folks who are here to cut the path for all of the seekers to come.
I am a regular reader of most of these blogs and some of them are readers of mine…pay it forward, that’s what I say. ;)
This world can make you feel powerless, not just make you feel powerless but make you truly believe that you are powerless. But you have power, you are alive after all and that is the greatest power. Paula Kawal blogs about this in her Born to Be Powerful post:
I did not explore the beliefs I held in place and I did not give any of myself over toward the process of becoming powerful. I thought of powerful people as being selfish monsters. I only saw one kind of power associated with the word…the power of the unchecked ego.
My pagan friend over at Turtleheart Cove let’s us in on the new book Math for Mystics that she loves. It’s about sacred geometry and numerology and looks pretty good:
I am not a math lover…but she makes the subject really fun and interesting and draws you in to learn more.
My most avid reader Kara-Leah, over at Be Consciousness Now, has posted an absolutely beautiful piece called How to Release Struggle, Stress and Worry. It is an explanation of how the ego plays its little tricks on us, causing negativity and even downright unhappiness. But the post is a fantastic one that leaves you smiling a big grin:
It is your mind, and the stories it weaves, that creates your stress and struggle and worry.
The mind does this because the ego wants it to.
The stories that create the stress and worry and struggle are stories of identity and importance.
They make the ego who it is.
They make the ego strong.
Look how stressed I am - my job is important and difficult
Look how much I struggle - I am working hard to achieve
Damian, at Be the Change- Tread the Path, has made an interesting observation about humanity’s need to see the worst in the simplest things in his post Revolution of Spirit:
…These people obviously saw torment where I felt peace and escape where I felt connection. Has the Human Race become so distanced from the beauty of enjoying the moment that they find weirdness where there is understanding?
As I have mentioned in the past, we all chose our time and place of incarnation in this life. Explanations for how and why this occurred abound. Erin Pavlina has put forward her view, a quite interesting explanation, in her newest post, Picking Our Parents and Our Life Circumstances:
You fill out the paperwork indicating you want to focus on learning compassion, perseverance, and kindness. You also decide you want to have a large impact on the planet instead of just living in your quiet little corner of the globe…..Using his vast ethereal computer, he inputs all your preferences and the computer spits out 20 families who have the exact life situation you would need in order to learn compassion, perseverance, and kindness.
What is consciousness? How does it form? Can humanity ever be a collective consciousness? Does the internet have consciousness? These are some of the very deep philosophical questions that inspired Adam at Adams Peace to write his very intelligent post Neural Network. Check it out:
I have heard a lot of talk from various blogs about the Internet being a precursor to a fully conscious collective mind. That is quite a radical claim, since the Internet itself is not able to think. I’d like to explore what consciousness really is…….Unfortunately, consciousness can not be proven without any doubt in any creature, except for in yourself. As I’m writing this, I am fully aware of my thoughts and body, but you, as the reader, do not have access to those thoughts directly. You can infer, however, that since I am human like you, that there is a very good chance that I am also conscious like you.
Well that’s it for the current round-up. I am always looking for interesting reading that opens my spirit up, reconnects me to the divine All and frees me to move even further forward on my own path toward ascension. By passing it on to you, I am wishing you the same benefits. Do email me if you have any reading suggestions along these lines.
Blessings, the Brightest!

Cool! I’ve been scouring Technorati lately looking for more spiritual blogs, blogs about awakening, blogs about light… with little luck. And now, in one post, you’ve given me a handful of new places to read.
Thank you!
And thank you too for including me in your round up.
Many blessings,
Kara-Leah

I have to thank you so much Vera. Like Kara-Leah said, I’ve been looking around for materials to read on, and from no where, you post up links.
You weren’t reading my mind now were you? :)
Anyway, keep up good work Vera. Hey, do you mind if I link your blog once I’m done constructing mine?
Thanks again. Cheers,
River of Karma

Vera,
I see Kara-Leah and myself have been on a similar journey again - I too found my way here from Technorati :-)
Many thanks for the inclusion and for sharing other links that I simply MUST follow.
Your page at my site is waiting for you - drop me an e-mail to iron out the details - there’s something else I’d like to share with you too ;-)
Love and Light,
Your friend,
Damian

I’m glad that you all enjoyed this post. I was afraid it was a bit off-topic but since I still have a touch of Bronchitis, I figured a round-up was better than no post at all. I consider all three of you to be my friends so any requests for post topics, I’d be glad to oblige. And River, go ahead and link away…any link is a good link, that’s what I always say. ;)
Blessings all!

Vera,
Request for Post Topic here :-)
I’d like to see a ‘Series’ exploring your meetings with Spirit - Positive, Negative or simply when they called in to say hello - which includes descriptions of the Entities you met along the way.
That’d make great reading.
L&L,
Damian
